Open Street View for Computers

  1. Open Google Earth on your computer.
  2. Search for a location that you want to see from the map.
  3. Zoom in to the area for a detailed view.
  4. Click Pegman which is on the bottom right of your computer screen
  5. Click on the highlighted area.

How to Use Open Street View with Your Computer?

Want to run a new area? There is a white arrow that appears onscreen; click on it to move the desired direction.

Wish to change your view? Then, all you need to do is to click and drag your computer screen.

Wondering how to return to the north-facing view mode? There is a compass button on the bottom right of your screen, so click it.

Moreover, Blue circles mean that you can see the colored area in the Street View, and orange circles indicate that you are allowed to see inside a building!

If you would like to remove an image from Street View, you can fill out the form that opens when you click on the “Report a Problem” button on the right corner of the web browser and submit it to Google Street View.

To exit from Street View and go back to real life, click on X in the top left of your screen.
